Welcome to a site dedicated to showing and sharing the Light of the World.

Luke 11: 33-36

No one lights a lamp and puts it in a place where it will be hidden, or under a bowl.  Instead he puts it on its stand, so that those who come in may see the light.  Your eye is the lamp of your body. When your eyes are good, your whole body also is full of light.  But when they are bad, your body also is full of darkness.  See to it, then, that the light within you is not darkness.  Therefore, if your whole body is full of light, and no part of it dark, it will be completely lighted, as when the light of a lamp shines on you."

I am not lazy, but adding and editing this has gotten somewhat burdensome, especially since hardly anyone reads this. So I am starting over at WordPress....I Hope to see you there if there was anyone out there reading my stuff, if not this website will under go some renevations, but not too much. We will see.

August 11 , 2008:  Olympics and Society

I have to ask why during the Olympics are we not more humane. The world expects a time of peace and a truce in fighting, yet some areas and some people can not seem to take a holiday from being, well for lack of a better word people. We are all sinners, mean spirited and very true to form that we are somewhat inherently evil. But we are capable of such beauty in art and life and yet we still decide to do the wrong things. I want peace and quiet all over the world. An end to fighting, disputes and general meanness. We can be good, we just need to choose to be good, it is not easy and it can mean some rethinking, but if you treat others the way you want to be treated, things would be a lot better.

All in all I am glad to see at the very least gas prices going down.

On top of it all I don't want to be a work today. I just want a longer weekend and more time with my family. Well it could be a lot worse, I might be broke and with out a job. So no complaints.

April 25, 2008:  Life

Well here we are in the middle of a Gas crisis. If no one is calling it that, well they should be. The price is getting ridiculous so hold on to your wallets and keep your eyes on the future. If it gets better. Check out my links, trying to add some more and please if you can spare the computing time go to BOINC and contribute to the cause of helping the world a little bit.  Enjoy!

March 27, 2008:  New Site

Well here we are, the new site, doesn't look much different, but that would be because it isn't. Just moved to a new address and made some udpates. Nothing major. Just happy to be new and improved even though it isn't. Sign the guest book and look around, more coming slowly but surely.  Enjoy!

March 25, 2008:  Owing all to God

In this life we have a great debt owed to God, whom I dislike to use such an impersonal title for, so I call Him Yahweh-Rohi (which means God My Shepard), but to the debt we owe it is one beyond reconing. You see we owe our very existence to Yahweh-Rohi. Without whom we and this world would not exist at all, neither would the universe, galaxy and all that we know. It is because of His great Love that we exist, if not for Yahweh-Rohi, than who.

I am in the middle of what some might call a Mid-Life crisis, for I am considering a change of career choice, sometime in the near future. I fix computers currently and I am pretty good at it. I work with students, teachers, faculty and even dabble with the network side of things among other things. But I have been feeling a strange call as of the beginning of this year. I have been writing more and reading more, understanding more, and learning more each and every day. My devotional time, started this year, has lead to some revelations also. This is leading me to consider at least at this time a call to the Ministry. I once had a call like this when I was a teenager, but since then have put it aside. Not forceably, just that was where it ended up. Now I wonder if Yahweh-Rohi is calling me again. I wonder, and in so doing, ponder what may be the next step and to what will this lead.

So I reiterate, I and all of you out there, owe all we have and all that we are to Yahweh-Rohi, God, The Creator, The Master of All. I ask Him daily for assurance and for His Will so that I can say that I followed Yahweh-Rohi and did what He wanted me to do. So I can leave that legacy to my son and my family. To be A Man after God's own Heart.   Amen.

January 4, 2008:  Surrender to Jehovah

Why do we have such a hard time surrendering to God? Explain to me why we can trust that the wind will blow, we will have air to breath, the person next to you want hit you with their car, a tree won't fall on you, you want break a leg on the way to work and your job will be there when you get there the next day. We have faith and trust that these things will not happen on any one day. But there is an issue. Jehovah will be there each and every day. He never changes, he is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow. It is easier to trust in something that will not change, then to try and trust in those things that we do not have control over, yet that is what we do every day. I know that Yahweh is not visible, hard to understand and elusive. But on the whole He is the one and only that we can trust in. Jehovah is always there for us. He has never let us down and He always has the best intentions for us. We have only to choose His way and be us. Jehovah will do the rest. Be You. Surrender to Yahweh. Let God do the rest and life will be better and stronger.

December 31, 2007:  Snow and a New Year

Well here it is the last day of 2007, tomorrow starts a whole new year.  I want people to just be themselves for the new year.  Don't try to fit in, don't try to be someone else, just be you and relax in your own skin.  That is all I am asking of people.  This includes politicians.  Don't try to tell us what you think we want to hear just tell us what YOU plan on doing, not what you think you need to say to get elected, try honesty for once.  There, I have ranted enough for the end of the year.

I had an awesome drive into work today.  The snow was so beautiful and the trees were laden with snow.  It was a picturesque sight to behold.  Shoveling it was not much fun, since it was wet and heavy, but driving was not too bad.  The new/used car with better tires was doing a great job.  It was a peaceful way to start the last day of a new year.

Well have a Wonderful last day of the New Year and Enjoy the First day of the New Year.  Be You!  Be Honest!  Be Open to Change!  Make 2008 a Year to Remember!  Yahweh be with You All!

December 21, 2007:  Merry Christmas

I would like to say one last thing about Christmas.

Probably won't write again until after Christmas, so I want to wish anyone who reads this a very Merry Christmas.  Enjoy Christmas with your family and have a wonderful time.

But please don't forget that Christmas is about Jesus, His birth into our world and our salvation through Him.  Without Him life would be a tragedy, for no one would be even trying to be a better person, trying to live a good life.  Trying to enjoy life as it is.  We would be a bunch of cranky, greedy, complaining, abusing people.

I don't want to even imagine what life would be like without Jesus.

He is the ultimate Reason for the Season!  Don't forget that.

Have a Very Merry Christmas!

God Bless You All!
